Andy Coxon has been seen in Yank! A WWII Love Story, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and Hair. He is currently part of the cast of Scott Alan's song cycle The Distance You Have Come. Andy speaks to BroadwayWorld about the show.

Launching in June 'The Crazy Coqs Presents' is a new monthly showcase each with a different them hosted by lyricist Mark Petty, one half of the transatlantic writing team of Anderson & Petty. Show themes so far have included 'Classic Songs from the Musicals', 'Pride at the Musicals', 'The Disney Show' and last month 'The New Musical Theatre Showcase' which featured new material from Anderson & Petty, Kansley & Lidert, Oliver Boito, Kate Marlais & Alex Young and Webborn & Finn. These concerts have featured the cream of the West End including Rebecca Trehearn, Christina Bennington, Oliver Savile, Nadim Naaman, Charlotte Wakefield, David Shannon, Carolyn Maitland, Andy Coxon, Jane Milligan, Chloe Hart, Charlotte Jaconelli and Edward Baruwa to name but a few.

Scott Alan is one of the industries most prolific composers. He took a moment to chat with BroadwayWorld about the upcoming concert dates, his song cycle in London, and the things that have influenced his music.

The Distance You Have Come follows the lives of six individuals who juggle the constant challenges of life, depression, heartache and love. Told through the music and lyrics of award-winning composer Scott Alan, this brand-new musical brings together a song cycle of his most acclaimed works for the first time, performed by some of the greatest generational voices in the West End.

With this year's Pride still fresh in Londoners' minds, there couldn't be a more appropriate time for Joseph and David Zellnik's musical about gay US soldiers in World War Two to open in central London. It runs not far away from another high profile LGBT production, Rotterdam, which will finish its short run this weekend.

YANK! is based on the Off-Broadway hit production from 2010, with book and lyrics by American writer David Zellnik, with his brother Joseph Zellnik's musical score paying homage to the timeless music of the 1940s. The musical is directed by James Baker, and is produced by Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment, Hope Mill Theatre, Ben Millerman with Jim Kierstead and Guy James.
