The Arvada Center Artistic Producer, Rod A. Lansberry has announced the cast for Legally Blonde, The Musical. The show runs June 12 - July 1, 2012 in the Main Stage Theater.

Intiman Theatre's Board of Trustees has named Keri Kellerman as managing director. Kellerman's appointment was confirmed by unanimous vote at a special session of the Board of Trustees, held last Friday.

Intiman Theatre has met its pledge goal of $1 million., and as a result the Intiman Board of Trustees has voted to reopen Intiman and move forward with production of the 2012 Intiman Theatre Festival. The vote of the Trustees enables Artistic Director, Andrew Russell, to proceed in the production of the Theatre's new festival model - a four-play summer festival season curated from a collective of local artists and performed by a repertory company of 12 local actors. As BroadwayWorld reported back in April, Seattle's Intiman Theatre closed its doors after suffering crippling financial problems. The theatre, which had been $2.3 million in debt last year, had raised approximately $800,000 over the winter and was attempting to raise an additional $1 million by this September, in two installments. After failing to meet springtime fundraising goals, the theater shuttered, laying off its staff. Just prior, Artistic Director Kate Whorisky parted ways with the Intiman.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will continue its popular series of free staged readings of new plays by the Emerging Writers Group, beginning Wednesday, June 1 and running through Tuesday, June 28 at The Public Theater.
