Franklin Stage Company Announces Outdoor 2021 Summer Season

The Franklin Stage Company has announced the lineup of their 25th season, from July 4th weekend through August 29. All performances will be held on the lawn outside the theater. The season will open July 3rd with an opening reception for an art exhibit titled Franklin Stage Company and the Evolution of Chapel Hall.
Broadway League is 'Evaluating the Revised Guidelines' for Impact on Fall Re-Opening

Following the CDC's announcement last week, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo revealed in a press conference that the state will officially adopt their guidance starting Wednesday, May 19. The Broadway League has now issued a statement on how that progress affects the road back to normal in regards to Broadway.
Suffolk Theater Plans September 1 Reopening

Theaters have been allowed to reopen since March, but at just 33% capacity or a maximum of 100 people. This didn't allow the Suffolk Theater to reopen. The venue's owner Bob Castaldi said that only a 100% capacity reopening would be financially feasible.
