On the heels of winning a Barrymore for Best New Play and the prestigious Brown Martin Award for their hit Slip/Shot, Flashpoint Theatre Company has announced its 2012-2013 season. Their season begins this December with their annual Holiday Repertory Show and then it continues with two World Premieres in the New Year. This September, the residents of four Philadelphia households will open their homes to audiences and perform in the premiere of Headlong Dance Theater's This Town Is A Mystery. Headlong has selected a diverse group of households, chosen from over forty applications in a citywide open call for participants, for this unprecedented performance project that will transform each home into a theater and its residents into performers. The pieces will be presented from September 7 through 22 as part of the 16th annual Philadelphia Live Arts Festival.

For the Love of Pig Iron: In-Hog-Ural Ball will be held at the Trocadero Theatre, 1003 Arch Street, on Friday, January 16, 2009. Doors open at 7:00pm, show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets are a measly $20 before January 9, $30 afterwards. $75 preferred-seating tickets and $500 tables for 6 (including a pre-show reception with heavy appetizers and drinks) are also available.
