The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey celebrates art and William Shakespeare with its next Main Stage production, Shakespeare in Love. Vertical dance company BANDALOOP presents Dances from Thin Air, a multi-media evening of vertical dance and film of the company's recent mountain dances. For one night only, the Bay Area's own BANDALOOP will light up the Great Wall Oakland at Broadway and West Grand with its acclaimed, dynamic vertical dance. The award-winning short film SHIFT, shot in Yosemite National Park in 2015 and recent footage of the new work Coyote Waltz filmed as part of the National Park Service Centennial will frame the live performance on wall. Bringing wild space to urban place, Dances from Thin Air shares with our Bay Area audiences the mountain heart of BANDALOOP's artistry.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will be available through the month of October when The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, in partnership with Drew University, presents a "double-bill" experience for students and adults. From October 6th - 30th, a single copy of the original First Folio, one of the world's most valuable, rare and influential books will be on public display at Drew University's Mead Hall. The renowned Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington D.C. launched an historic tour of the book in early 2016 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.
