FRIGID New York and Manhattan Theatre Source will present the 2023 EstroGenius Festival: BAN(NED) TOGETHER, a festival celebrating femme artists, March 15 - April 2.

Chef Amanda Cohen of Dirt Candy and Chef Hillary Sterling of Vic's will host New York City's Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry on April 17, 2019. The evening brings together dozens of the city's best chefs and mixologists - all to raise the critical funds needed to end childhood hunger in New York and across the US.

'Taste of the Nation' for No Kid Hungry, one of the longest-running culinary event series, announces dates for their 2019 season. This year's schedule features both returning and new markets to the 19-city line-up including Portland, ME; Philadelphia, PA; and Austin, TX, where the series is having its kick-off on February 7.

Written and directed by Yukich and presented as part of the Dream Up Festival at Theater for the New City, Apes at Play is a short but ironically succinct piece that gets to the core of what it means to live within the possibility of the inexplicable.

A seasoned assassin is hired to wipe out an obscure fringe playwright. Yet as she moves closer to the kill, she uncovers an inexplicable link between herself and the target. Part detective story, part meta-noir, this Kafkaesque comedy takes us on a topsy-turvy quest that explores everything from black holes to criminal clowns.

Taste Talks, the national series of innovative food festivals, announces the first annual Taste Talks Food & Drink Awards, a national culinary awards program for a new generation of food and drink lovers focusing on culture and innovation. Award nominee submissions open to the public today, and the winners will be announced at a live awards show hosted by Emmy winner Mo Rocca on Monday, September 26 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House.
