Announced today is Millennials Are Killing Musicals, a new musical written by NAMT and Drama League Award-winner Nico Juber, which will receive an industry reading on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 11:00am and 2:00pm at Open Jar Studios, and will be presented in a public concert on Monday, April 4th at 9:30pm at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

It's that time of year again. 2021 is coming to a close and soon we will all be ringing in the new year. As a form of goodbye to this year, I am looking back at all the fun moments I've had that are related to theater and are now fond memories. I've seen so many shows with friends and family members, I've been to concerts with friends and I even met some actors. Here are my top five memories.

59E59 Theaters has announced the casts of Whisper House and The Collision / The Martyrdom. Whisper House, presented by The Civilians, will reopen Theater A and begin previews on January 11, 2022, with opening night set for January 20 for a limited run through February 6, 2022.

CHICKEN & BISCUITS, the new comedy written by Douglas Lyons and directed by Zhailon Levingston, made its Broadway debut just last night, October 10, at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street.) The limited engagement runs through Sunday, January 2, 2022.

A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet, the first new musical to premiere in New York City since the shutdown began, opened just last night, September 27, with the strictly limited engagement set to run thought Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th Street).

Broadway Records announced today the release of the 2021 studio concept recording of STONE CROSSED, the new musical by Philip David Stern. The recording features performances by Krystina Alabado (Green Day's American Idiot), Alex Boniello (Dear Evan Hansen), Gabi Campo (The Prom), Antonio Cipriano (Jagged Little Pill), Will Connolly (Once), Telly Leung (Allegiance), Elle McLemore (Heathers: The Musical), Celia Rose Gooding (Jagged Little Pill), Jon Rua (Hamilton) and Samantha Williams (Dear Evan Hansen).
