Fire In The Radio Share New Single 'EX-SF'
by Kaitlin Milligan
- Feb 20, 2020
Philadelphia-based band Fire In The Radio will release their new album Monument out April 3 via Wednesday Records (pre-order). Today Kerrang! premiered the official video 'EX-SF' along with an exclusive interview with the band. Kerrang! says, 'Fire In The Radio's music especially powerful is that they always seem to be reaching for the stars — and preparing to fall. The Philadelphia four-piece's music is driven indie rock with a distinct shimmer on it that reminds one of jangling semi-goths like The Smiths. But guitarist-vocalist Richard Carbone's moaned vocals and the use of heartrending minor chords throughout give their sound an inherent sadness. The result is Monuments, their plucky, atmospheric third album that's full of soaring aspirations while feeling firmly rooted in the clumsy real world.' 'EX-SF' will be on all streaming services this Friday to add to your favorite playlists.

- Jan 24, 2020
Philadelphia-based band Fire In The Radio has announced the release of their new album Monument out April 3 via Wednesday Records (pre-order). Today the band shared 'Let's Get To The Start' the first single to be lifted from the release with New Noise Magazine and the song is also available to share on all streaming services to add to your favorite playlists. About the song Fire In The Radio's Adam Caldwell says, ''Let's Get To The Start' seemed like the appropriate opening track to this record. It speaks to the idea that we don't need to look to the past or to institutions to define what's important. The contributions we make in the present, the kindness we show others, are the memories that will serve as monuments to who we are and what we stand for.'
