From The Valley features an impressive group of collaborators, including acclaimed producer BJ Burton [Bon Iver, Soccer Mommy, Low], Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, Tommy King [HAIM, The Killers, Vampire Weekend], A.G. The 12-song Laugh Track is a companion to and features material originally started in the same sessions as First Two Pages of Frankenstein, which was released by 4AD in April. The National has also confirmed additional U.S. tour dates this fall, as well as Australian shows next spring with support from longtime friends Fleet Foxes.

Carlos Del Amo and Lua Rios - who record and perform as Gold Lake - have shared a new single “North Of Something.” The song is taken off their forthcoming album Weightless, co-produced by Aaron Dessner of the National and Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear who plays on the new single.  

Heavy MakeUp—the dynamic new project from Edie Brickell, CJ Camerieri and Trever Hagen—will perform four shows at Los Angeles’ Sun Rose next month on October 4, 11, 18 and 25. Each show will consist of two distinct sets—the first will feature songs from their self-titled debut album, while the second will be a purely improvised performance.

Global superstar Ed Sheeran has announced details for the “- Tour” (pronounced “Subtract Tour”), a very special run of dates set to take place in theaters and auditoriums in 14 cities across North America. Singer-songwriter Ben Kweller supports on most dates.  These intimate performances - which kick off at the Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL.

Written by the English seaside amidst the extreme elements of winter, “Boat” serves as a metaphor for depression; a track that combats the struggles of feeling very low and not knowing how to break the cycle. The official video, directed by Mia Barnes, further cements the message, as Ed is submerged in the sea with waves engulfing him.
