PRIDE month kicks off with History Fort Lauderdale's “Take PRIDE! A Retrospective of LGBTQ Life in South Florida” exhibit opening reception at 6 p.m. on May 31 at Galleria Fort Lauderdale.

In honor of PRIDE Month (June 2023), History Fort Lauderdale will present “Take PRIDE! A Retrospective of LGBTQ Life in South Florida.” This impactful exhibit will chronicle the gay rights movement and the significant migration of LGBTQ community members to South Florida which has contributed to the success of its vibrant arts and culture, business, media, and political landscape.

GRAY announces GRAY at 60, an exhibition and accompanying book commemorating six decades since the gallery's founding in 1963 by Richard Gray (1928-2018).

The 5th Avenue Theatre has announced casting for Northwest Bookshelf, this season's Educational Touring Company show, which will tour to schools and community centers across Washington state from February to May 2023.

The film stars Gabriel Byrne (Hereditary, The Usual Suspects), Thomas Jane (The Expanse, “Hung,” Boogie Nights), Isaiah Mustafa (It Chapter Two, “Shadowhunters”), Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect franchise, “True Blood”), Aimee Garcia (“Woke,” “Lucifer,” “Dexter”), Emma Kenney (“The Conners,” “Shameless”), and more.

Brian May shares a newly-created performance video for the title track of his 1998 solo album Another World – filmed recently in the Canary Island locations where he says he feels 'closest to Heaven.” The video premieres on YouTube today, April 29th.
 The atmospheric song is a highlight of the album, which is out now in a deluxe, multi-format edition in May's Gold Series of reissues. The 2CD and box set formats feature the remastered original album and the Another Disc collection of remixes, rarities and live tracks. 

“This is Our City,” is an original song by 5th Avenue Theatre favorite and frequent collaborator Richard Gray (Murder for Two, West Side Story, among many others) and is performed by theater artists Cayman Ilika, Nicholas Japaul Bernard, Naomi Morgan, and Jasmine Joshua.

Restored by Bob Ludwig, the album will be reissued in multiple formats, including 1-CD and – on 180g heavyweight black vinyl – 1-LP versions. The 2CD Deluxe set adds Another Disc (mastered by Adam Ayan), while a 2-CD + 1-LP Collector’s Edition includes both CDs and a sky-blue vinyl LP in a 12” lift lid box, with a 32-page booklet and enamel badge.

ArtsUnited, a nonprofit organization dedicated to producing quality cultural programming that showcases the LGBTQ community, will honor South Florida community leaders Michael Goodman, Richard Gray, Phil Cordell and Our Fund for advancing the arts during its “Dining with the Divas” Celebration Dinner and Fundraiser set for Tuesday, March 15, at 7 p.m. at Lips.

The Growing Stage: The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace  Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey is thrilled to welcome back audiences in person as we  present our 40th Season.
