Last Thursday we had our first show of 2020 and what better way to kick off the New Year than our first-ever Rising Star Reunion! At every show we do, along with our Broadway performers who come to sing with us, we also showcase a young artist who has not yet tread the Great White Way! Many of our Rising Stars go on to do INCREDIBLE things and we were so happy to be joined by some of our favorite alumni! Olivier Award Winner Lesli Margherita (Zorro, Matilda, Dames at Sea) returns to The Green Room 42 for one night only on Saturday August 10th  at 7:00p with RULE.

Deaf And Hearing Broadway Vets Reunite For Presentation Of New Musical STEPCHILD


A recipient of DCA's inaugural CreateNYC Disability Forward Fund, IRT Theater will present six work in progress presentations of the new musical, Stepchild. This fully accessible piece is a radical retelling of Cinderella, seen through the eyes of a young Deaf woman coming of age in a kingdom violently intolerant of difference. All presentations will take place at IRT's Greenwich Village home from May 29- June 2, 2019.

The Halloween season comes with a lot of tricks and treats. Well, we got the ultimate treat on October 26th, just days before Wicked's 14th anniversary (aka Wicked Day), as well celebrated our 3rd annual ELPHA-BALL! A coven of actresses who have defied gravity in Wicked as Elphaba joined to hare witchy songs and stories from their time in Oz. Mamie Parris (Graizabella in Cats), Caroline Bowman, Laurel Harris (Beautiful), Julie Reiber (Come From Away) and Carla Stickler blew the roof of The Beechman. American Theatre of Actors Set to Premiere THE QUEEN'S DILEMMA: A NEW MUSICAL


The Queen's Dilemma, book, music, and lyrics by Samuel J. Bernstein, is a play inspired by the Biblical Book of Esther. It will be performed on March 4th (7 p.m.) and March 5th (1 and 4 p.m.) at the American Theatre of Actors (314 West 54th Street) This original musical play blends humor with anguish, tragedy with triumph, while exploring Jewish identity in all its complexities.
