This July, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will bring together more than 140 actors, singers and musicians from across globe for a sensational, one-time event - A Yiddish Renaissance: A Virtual Concert Celebration - filled with music and appearances by some of the most renowned Yiddish performers.

On the eve of the highly-anticipated Presidential Inauguration of President-Elect Joseph R. Biden and Madam Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, the cast of the critically-acclaimed off-Broadway hit, Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, released a rendition of “God Bless America” in Yiddish, featuring Academy and Tony Award winner Joel Grey and Steven Skybell.

Fiddler on the Roof, in Yiddish with English Supertitles, will partner with the YES PROJECT/Youth Equity Science: Fighting Stigma, Preventing Suicide With Science + Law for a special evening on Wednesday, November 6. The benefit will include a VIP reception followed by an 8:00 PM performance of the award-winning musical and a post-show talkback with the cast. On Monday, July 15, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will present its annual Summer Benefit Concert, presenting Tony- and Academy Award-winning actor Joel Grey, who directed NYTF's Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding work in film, television, and theatre.

Yesterday, June 23, Mikhail Baryshinkov visited Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. Following the curtain call, director Joel Grey came onstage to announce that Mikhail was in attendance.
