BWW catches up with Greg Esplin to chat about bringing Trainspotting Live to the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Adapted by Harry Gibson and directed by King's Head Theatre Artistic Director Adam Spreadbury-Maher, in collaboration with Greg Esplin and Ben Anderson, Trainspotting Live is set to embark on a UK tour. Produced by Brass Jar Productions (Drunk Shakespeare) and Olivier Award-winning producer James Seabright, Trainspotting Live first officially opened on July 15, 2018.

From the moment you enter the theater - through a narrow hallway lit an antiseptic white - you are plunged into an immersive and disorienting experience in OUT LOUD's new one-act, CREATION X. The one-hour show, an intense character study of a scientist and 'monster,' is by turns enigmatic, thought-provoking, and viscerally terrifying.

Trainspotting Live, the acclaimed no-holds-barred immersive, in-ye-face theatre staging of Irvine Welsh's classic novel, today announces a 2-week extension to its upcoming London season - and its first New York transfer.

Today, Elaine Paige and Alexandra Burke announced the nominations for the Olivier Awards 2018 with Mastercard, UK's most prestigious stage honours. The 2018 awards are set to be an exciting occasion with original new work dominating the categories and a significant number of artists receiving their first ever Olivier nominations. Catherine Tate will host the Awards at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 8 April and they will be broadcast to the UK and worldwide.

The King's Head Theatre, following on from the exciting news that the company will be moving in 2018 to a purpose built, permanent space in the heart of Islington Square, and Joe C Brown will present the West End transfer of their sell-out production of Puccini's La boh me. Adam Spreadbury-Maher, Artistic Director of the King's Head Theatre, will direct the production, which is running at Trafalgar Studios 2 from 6 December 2017 to 6 January 2018.

The acclaimed no-holds-barred immersive, in-yer-face theatre staging of Irvine Welsh's classic, Trainspotting Live - direct from world tour - is to return to London for an 8-week season at the Vaults from 27 March 20 May 2018.
