Elizabeth Ulloa Lowry BIO

Elizabeth Ulloa Lowry, a New Orleans native of Cuban heritage, is a lifelong soprano and pianist. Recent roles include: Carol in Catch Me if You Can at JPAS; Ariel in The Little Mermaid and Roxie Hart in Chicago at Cutting Edge Theater; and Cinderella in Into the Woods at Slidell Little Theater. She has been singing with the New Orleans Opera Association since 2014. Elizabeth has also enjoyed working both sides of the stage, as Vocal Director for Hairspray, The Producers, 13, and Rent in productions throughout Louisiana. She studied at the University of New Orleans and has placed first in various vocal competitions, including NATS. Jefferson Performing Arts Society Announces JPAST & PRESENT: A PARTY FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS Celebrating 45 Years Of JPAS Productions


Jefferson Performing Arts Society will host a “Party for the Performing Arts” featuring longtime JPAS performers and other special guests, at Jefferson Performing Arts Center on Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests will dine onstage inside the JPAC theater; seating is limited to 250 people due to this unique and rare experience.

Nearly 10 years after the movie, some geniuses decided to turn the show into a Broadway musical starring Aaron Tveit and Norbert Leo Butz. Honestly, what more do we need in life? While the show didn't have a long run on Broadway, it is now being played in regional theatres, and the New Orleans area was lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience the fun at Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS).
