Riverside Theatre Lines Up 2018 Summer Performances

Riverside Theatre's Education Division will present five shows this summer that will delight and entertain the whole family. The months of June, July and August will feature some of the most talented young actors, singers, and dancers in the area as they perform a live production of a animated film, explore current popular songs, mount a current Broadway hit, and dance with a professional dance company.

"Based on the enormous success of last year's programming, we are pleased to again present a variety of shows that will challenge and showcase our incredibly talented students," says Kevin Quillinan, Director of Theatre Education. "These shows will not only be tremendously captivating, but they will also allow our young performers to further their creativity, imagination, and love of theatre.

"Continuing our work with the professional staff at Riverside this summer, we will give all our young actors the opportunity of performing on the Stark Stage, Riverside's main performance space. This will give the kids an experience they won't soon forget."

The shows are:

Madagascar JR.

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the hip hip Hippo and, of course, those hilarious, plotting penguins as they bound onto stage in the musical adventure of a lifetime.
