Stop the presses! The Titusville Playhouse, Inc. presents Disney NEWSIES, the Disney film turned Tony-winning Broadway hit that's inspiring everyone to fight for what's right and to seize the day.

The show opens Friday, August 17 and runs through Sunday, September 9! Tickets are only $21 to $29 and are available online at www.TitusvillePlayhouse.com or by calling the box office at 321-268-1125.

Based on the 1992 motion picture, Disney NEWSIES is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged "newsies," who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what's right. High-energy with non-stop thrills, the stage version introduces eight brand-new songs while keeping many of the beloved songs from the film, including "Carrying the Banner," "Seize the Day," "King of New York" and "Santa Fe."

The cast stars Cameron Elliott as Jack Kelly; Sarah Mills as Katherine Plumber; Benjamin Youmans as Davey; Dennis Pisarz as Crutchie; Giancarlos "G.C." Coris as Les; Kyle McDonald as Joseph Pulitzer; & Angela Tims as Medda Larkin.

Rounding out the cast are Erica Bargas, Sarah Biggs, Bryan Boytek Jr., Dominic Del Brocco, Kayla Elliott, Lucas Engle, Nate Hernandez, Chad Horne, Joe Horton, Dylan Intriago, Julia Jordan, Rob Landers, Noah McAmis, Devyn Mercer, Matthew Monroe, Kevin Nolan, Kiernan O'Connor, Joseph Piscione, Joseph Rose, Cullen Sanders, Chris Siciliano, Rylee Smart, & Jonathan Willis.

Artistic Director & General Manager, Steven J. Heron, directs the TPI production of Disney NEWSIES featuring choreography by Luke Atkison. The production team includes Spencer Crosswell as music director, Luke Atkison as lighting & projection designer, Trevor Peters of APA as sound designer, Niko Stamos as costume designer, Jason Lee Courson as scenic designer, Jonathan Willis as props designer and Aaron Sartorio as stage manager.
