Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest Announced

Tonight, in front of a crowd of Fringe fans and special guests at the opening ceremonies of the Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, Orlando Fringe announced that for the first time in many years, the twenty-eight-year-old organization is having a presenting sponsor for their annual festival.

Executive Director, Alauna Friskics announced that City Beverages would be the Presenting Sponsor for the 2019 Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival.

"We go way back with the different incarnations of City Beverages," said Friskics. "They have been a partner with us since day one. This has been a long journey, and we are so thankful for all of the people at City Beverages for sharing our vision of creating an artistic culture that is accessible and inclusive"

In addition to naming the festival's new Presenting Sponsor, the organization also unveiled the theme and poster for the festival in May.

"In the past, we have told our audiences that 'Anyone Can Fringe,' and 'If you never go, you'll never know," and we joined together for 'United We Fringe,'" announced Orlando Fringe Marketing Coordinator Brian Sikorski. "This year, with assistance from Think Creative, we wanted a theme that would continue to celebrate the inclusive culture of Fringe while also conveying the fun and often chaotic nature of Fringe."

The poster, which was designed by Sarah Collins at Lure Design, was unveiled with the theme, "Fringe For All" to a roar from the audience.

"It's really fun and playful," added Sikorski. "It's going to make a good t-shirt."

The 28th annual Orlando International Fringe Theatre Festival takes place May 14-27th in Loch Haven Park.
