2019 Broadway Concert Series Announced At Aventura Arts & Cultural Center Five of Broadway's brightest stars are coming to Aventura Arts & Cultural Center as part of the 2019 Broadway Concert Series and fans purchasing an early bird subscription for all four shows by October 5, 2018 will receive 15 percent off single ticket prices for appearances by: Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner; Faith Prince; Jeremy Jordan; and John Lloyd Young. Tickets to individual concerts in the series are $45-$49 with $75 VIP tickets that include meeting the artist.

Alice Ripley & Emily Skinner open the Broadway series on Sunday, January 13 at 7 p.m. Nominated for Tony Awards for their co-starring roles in Side Show, the duo are back together on stage. A Tony-winner for Next To Normal, Ripley also appeared in American Psycho, The Rocky Horror Show and Sunset Boulevard. Skinner's Broadway credits include Billy Elliott, Jekyll & Hyde and The Fully Monty.

Faith Prince, who has been dazzling Broadway audiences since winning a Tony Award, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, performs on Sunday, February 10 at 7 p.m. As one of Broadway's best loved leading ladies, she received Tony nominations for A Catered Affair, Bells are Ringing and Jerome Robbins' Broadway and appeared in the Broadway casts of Disaster! The Musical, The Little Mermaid and the revival of Annie.

The series continues with Jeremy Jordan on Wednesday, March 6 at 8 p.m. Star of the world premiere production of Disney's Newsies on Broadway, for which he received both Tony Award and Grammy Award nominations for his role as Jack Kelly. Other Broadway credits include Bonnie & Clyde and Rock of Ages. He is also known to fans for his television roles as Jimmy Collins in Smash, and as Winslow "Winn" Schott, best friend of Supergirl and son of infamous DC Comics villain Toyman in the CBS show Supergirl.

John Lloyd Young is the grand finale to the Aventura Broadway Concert Series on Wednesday, March 20 at 8 p.m. A Tony Award winner for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Frankie Valli in Broadway's Jersey Boys, Young claims to be the only American actor to date to have received a Lead Actor in a Musical Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Award for a Broadway debut. His concert is a celebration of classic hits from the '50s and '60s presented in the authentic acoustic style of original rock 'n' roll, Doo-Wop and R&B standards. Along with tracks from Young's critically acclaimed debut album My Turn, the show features; "Sherry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" and "In the Still of the Night" along with treasures by Roy Orbison, The Temptations, Carole King, Dusty Springfield, Al Green and Little Anthony.

In addition to the Broadway Concert Series, theater fans will also enjoy Menopause the Musical, the hilarious celebration of women and the change (October 23-28); Slow Burn Theatre Company's staging of the Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch (November 29-December 2); the fall-down funny musical roast Forbidden Broadway (January 3-4) and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles Schulz and staged Slow Burn Theatre Company (March 14-17).
