Spotlight Theatre Company Introduces The Smash Hit MAMMA MIA!

Spotlight Theatre Company, a Staten Island theatre and Production Company, is introducing the smash hit musical, MAMMA MIA!. This entertaining performance features principals Amy Decker, Charlie Siedenburg, Jennifer Neuland Gerlach, John Watson Stewart, Shelby Caffrey, and Steve Witting and many more cast members. This new year performance will be taking place at the Music Hall of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden on January 24-27, 2019 at 7:00 PM. ABOUT Amy Decker (DONNA)

Amy is thrilled to be making her Spotlight Rep. debut and to be revisiting the role of Donna after a sold out run this past summer at Totem Pole Playhouse. Other credits include - Tours: The Phantom of the Opera (25th Anniversary Tour), Fame! (Korean Tour), The Will Rogers Follies (Betty Blake). NYC: Songs for a New World, Nunsense (Amnesia), Ophelia (Ophelia) and My Way. Select Regional: The Drowsy Chaperone (Kitty), Barnum (Jenny Lind) and Boeing Boeing (Gretchen). ABOUT Charlie Siedenburg (HARRY BRIGHT)

Charlie Siedenburg is thrilled to be returning to the stage and making his debut with Spotlight Repertory Theatre. He was last on the boards as Florenz Ziegfeld in Hemlock Theatre's Funny Girl. He's performed with and served on the Board of Directors for Center Stage Productions and SI Civic Theatre. Charlie has won awards for his direction of SI Civic Theatre's The 1940s Radio Hour and Follies and Surflight Theatre's SPAMALOT. He has over 25 years as a PR professional with credits ranging from Broadway to the Metropolitan Opera to regional theatre. Charlie is Press Director and an Associate Artist for Barrington Stage Company in the Berkshires. Charlie is currently an Adjunct Professor at Wagner College where he teaches Theater Appreciation and Public Relations for the Theater. He serves as Press Representative for Wagner College Theatre, In The Wings Productions and The Minty Awards. An Arts Administration/Theatre graduate of Wagner College, he resides in West New York, NJ.

ABOUT JENNIFER NEULAND GERLACH

JENNIFER NEULAND GERLACH (Tanya) Broadway: ANNIE 20th Anniversary Production, THE WIZARD OF OZ in Concert at the Lincoln Center and Turner Broadcasting. Off-Broadway: ANNIE WARBUCKS, THE LATE NIGHT CABARET SERIES directed by Martin Charnin. Regional: Goodspeed Opera House - STARCROSSED, HONKY TONK HIGHWAY. Theatre Virginia - FAIR AND TENDER LADIES. Other regional credits include: PARADE, BABY, SMOKEY JOES CAFÉ, CABARET, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE, CHICAGO, THE KING AND I, STATE FAIR, MY Doris Day and PEACE TRAIN. Cast recordings include ANNIE WARBUCKS and THE WIZARD OF OZ IN CONCERT. Proud member of Spotlight family (FOLK ROCK ROAD TRIP, VOICES OF HOPE, PEACE ON EARTH) Jennifer was Assistant Choreographer to the late Peter Gennaro. Jennifer choreographed in association with Peter Gennaro the London and Australian productions of ANNIE, which received "Olivier Award" and "Green Door" Award Nominations respectively for Best Choreography.

ABOUT John Watson STEWART (SDC, AEA)

John "Jacques" Watson Stewart is an award-winning international director, choreographer, writer and performer. Artistic Director - Weathervane Repertory Theatre 1991-2018; Director - SKYBO Productions & Casting (NYC); Writer - New York, regional and stock; Founder/Producing Artistic Director - ArtBridge (NY company producing bilingual theater in Central America); Co-founder/co-artistic director - Teamwork Dance (NJ Modern Dance company). Performing credits (Regional, NY); Chuck Baxter/Promises, Promises (McCarter Theater), Harold Hill /Music Man (Jay Binder, director), Sir Anthony/The Rivals (Indiana Rep), John Proctor/The Crucible (Palace Theater), John/When the Cookie Crumbles... (Promenade Theatre NYC) Weathervane Rep: Alfie/A Man Of No Importance, Higgins/My Fair Lady, George/Why Not Stay For Breakfast?, John/Caught In The Net among many others.

ABOUT SHELBY CAFFREY (ROSIE)

Shelby Caffrey is thrilled to come back to the theatre with Spotlight Rep and Mamma Mia! Shelby received a BFA in Acting and Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College, and was lucky enough to tour the world in productions such as The Maids, No Exit, Les Miserables, Hair, Romeo and Juliet, Mary Poppins, and Little Shop of Horrors. Shelby currently teaches yoga at 5 Boro Power Yoga on Staten Island, where she lives with her partner and daughter.

ABOUT STEVE WITTING (BILL)

For nearly 40 years, Steve Witting has thrived as both actor and director. Traveling between New York, Los Angeles, and London, he has directed in the worlds of opera, theatre, film, and television. Pursuing his own creative drive, he has also written and produced a number of his own plays and operatic works. Primarily known as a film actor, Steve has appeared in The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island, Catch Me If You Can, and Batman Returns and on the television series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, and The Hogan Family. He lives with his writerly wife, Renée Rogers, and his dramaturgically inclined daughter, Olivia.
