Steve Cohen, the ever- talented magician and illusionist continues to fascinate guests with his critically acclaimed, Chamber Magic Show that is performed at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue at 50th Street. We recently attended the show on a Saturday night where Cohen succeeded in charming and wowing his audience.

Cocktail attire is required so dress your best and enjoy the feeling that theatre is a special place to be. The refined, intimate setting for Chamber Magic accommodates 50-60 guests so everyone gets a close up view of the enthralling moments of the show and members of the audience get the unique opportunity to participate in the presentation of Cohen's amazements.

Cohen performs card tricks you won't see anywhere else. He has mastered the art of the classic sleight of hand, mind reading, and conjuring parlor entertainment. Card trick after card trick will enthrall you. Cohen has a magnetic personality. He lends background and humor to his presentation. His "Think-A-Drink" trick is an audience favorite as he produces from a kettle his guest's favorite beverages. We especially enjoyed his remarkable ability to read minds. Cohen astonished many of his guests as he revealed interesting facts about their lives.

Cohen brings a very impressive background to the world of magic. He earned a psychology degree from Cornell University and studied at Waseda University in Tokyo. He holds the esteemed rank of Member of the Inner Magic Circle with Gold Star, awarded by The Magic Circle in London. In 2012, he starred in Lost Magic Decoded, a two-hour special on the History Channel, and Theater of Wonder, a sold-out solo show at Carnegie Hall. His work has been featured on major television shows and publications.

Chamber Magic has been #1 on TripAdvisor's list of Things to do in NYC for the past year. Chamber Magic takes place five times a weekend. It is for an adult audience. The schedule at Lotte New York Palace is Fridays and Saturdays at 7 pm and 9 pm, and a matinee at 2 pm on Saturdays.
