Wolfbane's Murder Mystery Dinners Kick Off 2019 Season

Wolfbane cordially invites you to the wedding of the century between the Skylarks and the Merrygolds, two rival families who will be bound together "Til Death Do Us Part." This zany, interactive whodunit dinner calls on the audience to help solve a murder before the killer strikes again. There are only four chances to get in on the fun: two showings on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Falling River Country Club (2140 Country Club Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522) catered by Babcock House and two showings on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Wolf Den (197 Old Courthouse Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522) catered by Dish of Lynchburg. "Til Death Do Us Part" will sell out quickly, so reserve your tickets today.

Wedding guests will select a family to join, either the Skylarks, an eccentric Seattle family comprised of nature-loving, karma-preaching, granola-eating flower children, or the Merrygolds, Texan oil tycoons and cattle ranchers who are practically Lone Star State royalty. For dinner on February 9, the landmark Babcock House of Appomattox serves Southern fare in a simple, refined setting by offering seasonal and unique lunch and dinner entrees prepared by award-winning Executive Chef, Charles Clusman. On Saturday, February 16, Dish of Lynchburg, and Executive Chef Dave Ellis, specializes in warm, casual dining, combining international flavors with local favorites that invites diners to experience passion through food.

Wolfbane is a professional, nonprofit theatre bringing Broadway-style productions to Central Virginia at an affordable price. Entering its 11th season, Wolfbane is proud to present four incredible main stage productions this year and a world premier reading. In April, the Kander and Ebb classic "Cabaret" hits the Wolf Den, followed by the Central Virginia premiere of the Tony Award-winning production, "A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder" in June. In August, Wolfbane journeys outdoors at the Wolf PAC, with the long-awaited revival of Shakespeare's "The Tempest." Wolfbane will take you deeper into the woods in October with their audience poll winner, "The Crucible," performed entirely by firelight. Rounding out the season is a staged reading created for Wolfbane by the writers of the "Despicable Me" franchise. "Stranger Sings: an unauthorized musical parody" is based on the popular Netflix show "Stranger Things."
