Wolfbane Productions will be presenting the highly anticipated musical-classic "Cabaret" from April 11-May 4, 2019 starring Broadway's Ernie Pruneda and Ken Arpino. This production will be presented at Wolfbane's new indoor venue, The Wolf Den, located at 197 Old Courthouse Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522. In a Berlin nightclub, in the 1930s, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the CABARET. With the Emcee's bawdy songs as wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin's natives as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally's boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Don't Tell Mama" and "Two Ladies."

Wolfbane's "Cabaret" will be lead by Ernie Pruneda of "Sister Act" (Original Broadway Cast) as the Emcee and Ken Arpino of "Ruben and Clay's Christmas Show" (Original Broadway Cast) as Cliff Bradshaw. Joining this all-star company are Wolfbane favorites Sophie Moshofsky as Sally Bowles, Hubbard Farr as Ernst Ludwig, Kathy Clay as Fraulein Schneider, Karl Lindevaldsen as Herr Schultz, and Kelly Malone Dudley as Fraulein Kost. Rounding out the company are Travis Carr, Lauren Devine, Ellee Evans, Kyle Lawhorn, Luke Milhoan, Bev Owens, Samantha Topping, and Olivia Wray. The creative team features Wolfbane's Artistic Director, Dustin Williams (direction, musical staging), Morgan Smith (Stage Manager), Christine Yepsen (House Manager), Sabina Petra (Musical Director), Lauren Devine (Choreographer), Darryl Willard (Lighting Design), and Rebecca Myrie (Costume Design). "Even the orchestra is beautiful:" Heather Brand, Ken Brand, Steve Howard, Kendall Kress, Rick Neller, Holly Phelps, and Gregory Robey.
