VoiceJam A Cappella Festival Returns to Walton Arts Center
All-Call for Group Audition Submissions
Auditions are now being accepted for
VoiceJam, the annual a cappella festival produced by
Walton Arts Center in April. The competition is open to any a cappella group of three to 20 performers.
Video audition submissions will be accepted from now through February 3, 2019. Up to eight groups can be selected to compete, and those groups will be announced on February 8, 2019. The VoiceJam Grand Champion will have the opportunity to attend the Vocal Asia Festival this summer.

A cappella fans and finalists will converge on Northwest Arkansas for a weekend of activities April 4-6, 2019 including a cappella workshops, a headliner concert and the VoiceJam Competition hosted by
Deke Sharon, dubbed by Entertainment Weekly as the father of contemporary a cappella.

Winners of MTV’s “Top Pop Group” and finalists on “America’s Got Talent,” The Edge Effect is a six-man vocal group combining pop, R&B, jazz, rock and funk in a show unlike any other. Weaving a colorful tapestry of infectious beats, intricate harmonies and vocal acrobatics, The Edge Effect joins the VoiceJam competition as the festival headliner. With stunning reinterpretations of musical favorites as well as inventive original songs, The Edge Effect was named Boys II Men’s “Next Great A Cappella Group.”

This is your chance to witness the hottest vocal bands from around the country competing for the title of VoiceJam Champion. Hosted by a cappella producer Deke Sharon, the competition portion of the VoiceJam Festival is full of audience participation and fun for all ages.
