THE BOY FROM OZ - STAGES St. Louis
STAGES St. Louis is seeking a male dancer/singer with an unchanged voice for the role of Young Peter in The Boy From Oz.
AUDITION DATES:
Thursday, January 17, 2019 & Friday, January 18, 2019
Please schedule an audition appointment for either January 17 or January 18 by calling 314-604-6127, Monday – Friday between 10:00am – 3:00pm beginning Tuesday, January 8, 2019. All AEA members will have top priority in making appointments.
SEEKING:
Young Peter Woolnough (Allen); boy aged 10-12 from the Australian outback who dreams of fame and fortune as a performer. Accomplished child actor with an unchanged voice who sings and tap dances well. Acrobatic skills a plus.
PREPARATION:
Please prepare a 32 bar cut of a song in the style appropriate to the show The Boy From Oz. Be prepared to sing an additional selection if requested. Bring sheet music in your key. No lead sheets; no transpositions. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a current headshot and resume. Auditions are open to performers who will be 10 years old by May 1, 2019.
