[Louisa von Trapp] Female, to play 13. Initially mischievous, she eventually softens to Maria. Excellent singer. Must be under 5’. Principal. All Ethnicities.

[Gretl von Trapp] Female to play 6. MUST be at least age 6 to audition. Adorable and, at first, somewhat shy, but warms to Maria immediately. Excellent singer. Principal. All Ethnicities.
KINKY BOOTS, Rehearsal August 13- August 28th, Performs August 28th- Sept14th
Seeking:
[Young Charlie] Caucasian. Male child to play 10 years old. Charlie is the lead as a ten-year-old boy. Lost, quiet, and reflective. He works in the opening and closing sequences. Must have a great voice. Principal role.
[Young Lola] African American. Male child to play 10 years old. Lola as a ten-year-old boy whose father wants him to be a boxer, but he already knows he’s destined to wear high heels. Must have a great voice and be comfortable wearing high heels during the show.

Youth ages 17 and under to fill all roles in our upcoming conservatory class productions of Aladdin Jr. and Frozen Jr. There is a participation fee for conservatory classes, but not for main stage productions. See Gateway.org for dates of these conservatory class productions.
AUDITION PREP INFORMATION
There will be an open call for The Bodyguard, Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the conservatory classed of Aladdin Jr., and Frozen Jr.. It will be held on Sunday, June 2nd. Sign-ups will begin at 11:00 AM in the Gateway Playhouse lobby. The sign up list will close at 1:00 PM. We will be auditioning in the order in which you have signed up.
Please prepare 16-32 bars in the style or from the show (it does not need to be from the show). You MUST bring sheet music for the accompanist. No a cappella singing will be allowed. Please also bring a headshot and resume. If you do not have a headshot/resume, please bring a school picture and you can list all relevant experience on the forms that we will provide.
