Specifically seeking talent for Theme Park contracts throughout the summer of 2019. RWS produces the live entertainment for several theme parks across the country.
2019 SUMMER THEME PARKS: Hersheypark (Hershey, PA); Holiday World (Santa Claus, IN); Dorney Park (Allentown, PA); Kings Dominion (Doswell, VA); Dutch Wonderland (Lancaster, PA); Idlewild & Soakzone (Ligonier, PA); Kennywood (West Mifflin, PA); Waldameer (Erie, PA); Lake Compounce (Bristol, CT); Playland (Rye, NY); Story Land (Glen, NH); Santa’s Village (Jefferson, NH)…..And more to come!!
Non-Equity Singer/Actor/Movers and Singer/Dancers, over the age of 18, with dynamic personalities, who are comfortable with various music/vocal/dance styles and are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus.
Open Call will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 10am (Female Singers) and 2pm (Male Singers) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 12th fl, NYC.
PREPERATION:
Please prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and personality. Have a second contrasting selection prepared in case you are asked. Bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together.
Dance callbacks will be held in the afternoon on the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.
Contracts generally run mid-May through early September. Housing provided outside of the NYC area. Competitive pay.
