Southern Rep Theatre Announces Extends A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2

Southern Rep Theatre has announced that its Regional Premiere production of A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2, by Lucas Hnath, will extend one additional week, running now through October 28. The production opened Monday, October 8 to rave reviews and is the first Mainstage production of Southern Rep's 2018-19 season in their new permanent home located at 2541 Bayou Road, New Orleans.

Ticket prices: $40, $35 for seniors, $28 for active military and veterans, $25 for teachers, young professionals (under 35) and arts industry professionals.

Up next for Southern Rep is The Acting Company's production EVERYBODY, by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, running November 7-18. Then, the season continues withMANDATORY MERRIMENT: An Untitled Holiday Musical (November 28 - December 23, 2018), created by Leslie Castay and Ian Hoch. Next Spring features the regional premieres of THE WOLVES by Sarah DeLappe as well as two additional home-grown world premieres by two New Orleans natives: AZUL by Christina Quintana and FLOWERS FOR HALIE - a celebration of Mahalia Jackson written by and starring Troi Bechet.

With Southern Rep's new permanent location housed in the 13,400 square foot former St. Rose de Lima church building, the theatre plans to serve as a beacon for the arts, culture and community in New Orleans, providing new and expanded programming outside the theatre's Mainstage Season.
