Broadway Beats Hunger Charity Concert in New Jersey

Last night, Broadway's finest talent took center stage at New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse's second annual Broadway Beats Hunger charity event. Summit Medical Group Foundation and Community FoodBank of New Jersey joined forces to provide an evening of fun entertainment for the family while raising money to help raise awareness about proper nutrition and its impact on diabetes.

The night did not disappoint, with a stage decked out in twinkling holiday lights paired with a star-studded line-up belting out Christmas favorites all for a good cause.

Erika Henningsen (Mean Girls) sang an impressive "I've got My Love To Keep Me Warm" while Sarah Walsh (School of Rock) wowed the audience with her small stature and powerful vocals singing "We Need A Little Christmas", and Bradley Gibson (Lion King) brought back serious swagger to "This Christmas."

Other stars included Joey Taranto (Spider-Man), who sang "What Christmas Means to Me" (not before giving his best Cher impersonation), Jacob Gutierrez (Aladdin) and his rendition of "Grown Up Christmas List," Andy Kelso (Wicked) and Sheila Coyle's (Rent) duet of "That's Christmas To Me," and Rachel Prather (Once) who sang "River."

And we can't forgot the ever-so-talented Natalie Joy Johnson (Kinky Boots) who enticed bidders in a live auction with her hilariously on-point improv and later wooed the crowd with a stunning version of "Merry Christmas Darling." The evening ended with Haven Burton (Shrek The Musical), surrounded by the rest of the singers, giving Mariah Carey a run for her money with, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" done Broadway style.
