New Hampshire Theatre Project Announces 2018-2019 30th Anniversary Season at West End Studio Theatre New Hampshire Theatre Project celebrates three decades of bringing transformational theatre to the seacoast in 2018-2019 with an expanded season of MainStage productions, guest artists, and special community programs.

The season opens October 4-7 with a one-weekend-only reprise of Constellations by Nick Payne, directed by Catherine Stewart and starring seacoast favorites CJ Lewis and Colleen A. Madden. Last year, The Edge review raved: "Mesmerizing... No lover of theatre should miss this show!"

In November, Genevieve Aichele directs the rollicking gender-bender Men on Boats by Jacklyn Backhaus. Based on a real life 1869 expedition down the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon, this fast-based adventure tale features ten men in four boats - with all the roles played by women.

NHTP offers its first-time ever holiday production in December with a brand new re-working of a classic screenplay by Joe Landry, It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play directed by Robin Fowler.

Blair Hundertmark takes the directing helm in January with the hilarious All in the Timing by David Ives, a classic collection of short plays featuring clever, fascinating twists of language and offbeat comedy that is sure to chase away the winter blues.

In March, Catherine Stewart directs Charm by Kathleen Cahill. Full of grace and magical realism, this compelling new script brings to life the story of brilliant but unknown Transcendentalist Margaret Fuller, confidante of Thoreau, Emerson and Hawthorne.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit by Nassim Soleimanpour has been called a play but is really a lively, global sensation that no one is allowed to talk about. Its award-winning playwright is Iranian. "His words have escaped censorship and are awaiting you, the audience. The actor who will perform this play has never seen it and there is a new actor every performance." In April, seacoast actors CJ Lewis, Kathleen Somssich, Blair Hundertmark, Peter Josephson, Genevieve Aichele, Robin Fowler and others join luminaries like Nathan Lane, Patrick Stewart and Whoopi Goldberg for one-night-only performances.

NHTP wraps up the MainStage season in June with Ada & the Engine by Lauren Gunderson. Presented in collaboration with Glass Dove Productions, with direction by Catherine Stewart, this is the poignant story of Ada Byron Lovelace, daughter of the notorious Lord Byron and creator of the first computer program.

In addition to the MainStage productions, NHTP's 2018-2019 30th Anniversary Season will include a variety of guest artists, youth productions, a second year of the acclaimed Elephant-in-the-Room Series, the 3rd Annual Storytelling Festival, and a brand new Seacoast Sessions series featuring concerts and interviews with area musicians.
