After a calamitous explosion on a Rodeo Cruise ship, two survivors are stranded alone on a deserted island: Rex, a grizzled rancher, resigned to his fate, wanting only to die in peace; and Cody, a rodeo clown with love in his heart for everything except silence. The two engage in an epic, comedic struggle to define the character of their civilization and the very nature of their survival.

"Part 'Waiting for Godot,' part 'Lord of the Flies,' with dabs of 'True West' and even 'The Big Lebowski', Best Enemies is a buddy/enemy play thick with the rugged animosity, absurdism, and primal whimsicality of two very different cowboys forced into insularity together." -The Portland Phoenix
