King Arthur, The Knights Of Ni And Killer Rabbits Are Galloping To Franklin with SPAMALOT

Onstage at Pull-Tight Theatre in downtown Franklin June 1-16 is Monty Python's Spamalot, the winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Musical. Directed by Leslie Berra and produced by Jeremy Hargis, Spamalot is the outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped from the film classic "Monty Python and The Holy Grail." Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail.

"All your favorite Python bits are here, including The Knights of Ni, Tim the Enchanter, the Killer Rabbit, the French Taunter and more," Berra said. "Beautiful showgirls, tap-dancing knights, non-stop humor and wonderful music ensure an entertaining evening out on the town! It definitely makes for a great date night, but leave the little kiddies at home, some material is not suitable for young audiences," Berra cautioned.

Pull-Tight Players is proud to present a star-studded Spamalot cast including David Arnold, Stephanie Jones Benton, Jon Kieffner, Roger Csaki, Brett Myers, Johnny Benton, William Jones, Ben Gregory and Andrew Long. The hardest working ensemble in show biz includes Britanie Graham, Erin Hailey, Katie Gilchrist, Abigail Nichol, William Huddleston, Joshua Woods and Joshua Mertz. Choreography is by Paige Hall Christy, with vocal direction from Terri Godfrey and Dann Childers leading the band.

Tickets go on sale May 21 and can be purchased at www.pull-tight.com. Show times are 7:30pm for evening performances and 2:30pm for matinees. Pull-Tight is located at 112 2nd Ave So in Franklin and will soon be celebrating its 50th anniversary as the community's all-volunteer, non-profit community theater.
