GALA KAZAKHSTAN ASTANA BALLET Comes To Grimaldi Forum Monaco This Fall

The Grimaldi Forum Monaco is presenting GALA KAZAKHSTAN ASTANA BALLET, running from September 14 to September 15.

The Astana Ballet theater presents its show GALA KAZAKHSTAN ASTANA BALLET including the ballets "Love. Fear. Loss" and "A Fuego Lento."

This production is the harmonious encounter between ethnographic knowledge and the creations of contemporary choreographers combining various artistic processes, where the inimitable character of the national dance asserts itself.

The ballet of choreographer Ricardo Amarante "Love. Fear. Loss" is articulated on three duets, each of which expresses a feeling indissolubly linked to the story of Edith Piaf's life. This mini-show is imbued with the atmosphere of love and tragedy unique to the singer.

Each issue of the one-act ballet "A Fuego Lento," with choreographer Ricardo Amarante, is a tango-themed dance fantasy, where emotion meets the virtuoso technique and the spectacular movements and silhouettes. This ballet concentrates the burning essence of the most sensual of dances, the tango. Emotion wrestles with the virtuosity of technique and the spectacular sequences of movements and silhouettes.
