Maltz Jupiter Theatre Announces 2019/20 Season Of Shows

Follow your passion to the Maltz Jupiter Theatre for the award-winning regional theatre's 2019/20 season!

The 2019/20 season will begin with The Curious Case of the Curse of Count Dracula (October 27 - November 10), an all-new world premiere that combines the epic horror story of Count Dracula with a dash of Mel Brooks and Monty Python for a lightning fast, laugh-out-loud comedy. They continue with The Mystery of Edwin Drood (December 3 - 19), a hilarious whodunit-mystery musical based on Charles Dickens' unfinished novel of the same name that invites audiences to choose the outcome of the mystery. Next up is Chicago (January 14 - February 2), the beloved and sexy Tony Award-winning smash hit musical about rival murderesses that is sure to give audiences a little razzle dazzle! Then join them for Brighton Beach Memoirs (February 23 - March 8), Neil Simon's award-winning play that follows 15-year-old Eugene Jerome as he navigates the waters of adolescence prior to World War II. The incredible season ends with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (March 17 - April 5), Frank Loesser's nine-time Tony Award-winning musical that pokes fun at big business as it follows a lowly window washer who follows a handbook to climb the corporate ladder to high powered executive.

"Then experience the passion of the dazzling hit musical Chicago, fall in love with the angst and coming-of-age story that is Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs, and celebrate the hilarious satire of corporate ambition with How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

In addition to its season productions (not included in subscriptions), the Theatre will present an exciting lineup of all-new limited engagements and several popular favorites. November will bring an extra-special benefit to the Theatre: Tony Award® winner John Lloyd Young of Jersey Boys fame, who will headline the Theatre's seventh annual Tony Award® winner benefit concert. Students taking part in the Theatre's acclaimed Youth Artists' Chair summer internship program will present William Shakespeare's iconic drama Romeo and Juliet in August.

It's time to become a new subscriber or renew your season subscription to get the best seats available. The multiple Carbonell Award-winning theatre is offering two convenient subscription plans, the five-play and the opt-out of one, for the Theatre's 2019/20 season.

Patrons may purchase subscriptions for club level premium seats in the Theatre's premium space, The Green Room, and enjoy the stylish lounge and amenities throughout the season. Amenities include spacious 23" seats, a lounge with a private bar and restrooms, one free drink of choice with ticket purchase (evening performances only for season shows), panoramic views of the stage and a private entrance and elevator.

Subscriptions begin at $226. Subscribers save up to 25 percent on single ticket prices. Subscribers also get one fee-free ticket exchange per ticket per show, and advance notice and ability to purchase tickets to limited engagements and other special events. Subscription groups of 20 or more receive an additional discount.

New shows include the unmistakable music of Freddy Mercury and Queen with Mercury (January 4); the timeless and glorious music of Carole King with Tapestry: Carole King Tribute (February 6); a tribute to disco and the unforgettable music of the Bee Gees withStayin' Alive (February 7); the classic R&B and rock 'n roll sounds of The Coasters (February 9); the show-stopping music of Tina Turner with Forever Tina (February 14); and an intimate evening with acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Siegel for his American Salute - Jeffrey Siegel concert (March 22).
