Artistic Director Tony Prince and Producing Director Richard McGrew are excited to open the third production of the The Liminal Playhouse's fourth season, "Smart People" by Lydia R. Diamond, directed by Tony Prince.

It is a romantic comedy about four "smart people" of various races trying to deal with racism, friendship and romance in the years leading up to the first Obama election. Although extremely funny, this play is also a serious exploration of how the complexities of identity in the United States influence and complicate our lives and relationships.

The cast includes Angela D. Williams as Valerie Johnston, Louis Robert Thompson as Jackson Moore, Ryan Lash as Brian White and Bridget Kim as Ginny Yang.

The scenic designer is Kevin D. Gawley. The lighting designer is Keith Kimmel. The costume designer is Tony Prince. The sound designer is Richard McGrew.
