Broaadway's Shoshana Bean To Perform In Las Vegas At The Space

Shoshana Bean, the Broadway veteran and very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked, brings her powerhouse vocals to The Space. Bean will perform two concerts on Oct. 25 and 26 at the performance venue just west of the Las Vegas Strip that's known for intimate and unexpected experiences. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 17.

Most recently, Bean appeared as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl and as Cee-Cee Bloom in the new musical adaptation of Beaches, for which she earned a Jeff Award Nomination for best lead actress in a musical. She made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Hairspray.

Bean has sold out solo concerts around the world, lent her voice to countless films and television shows, amassed millions of views on YouTube, toured with Postmodern Jukebox, sang back up for Michael Jackson at his 30th anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden, and performed alongside David Foster, Ariana Grande, Brian McKnight. She also arranged vocals for Jennifer Lopez's "American Idol" performance of "I Luh Ya Papi," and her music has been featured in television shows on NBC, MTV, Oxygen, Bravo and Showtime.

Bean's three independent solo releases have topped the iTunes R&B and Blues charts in both the United States and United Kingdom, and her latest release Spectrum debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Jazz charts.

Bean's performances are part of an exciting fall concert schedule at The Space that includes Broadway and Hollywood recording stars. The Space is the brainchild of Las Vegas entertainer and philanthropist Mark Shunock, also known as the Host for the Vegas Golden Knights and MC for Magic Mike Live.
