Jim Belushi, an alumnus of Saturday Night Live and Chicago's famed Second City, is bringing to the stage an improvised comedy sketch show featuring members of the Board of Comedy. Jim Belushi and the Board of Comedy will improve their way to Thrasher-Horne Center on Saturday, January 26 at 8 PM.

"We are not stand-up comedians," comments Jim Belushi. "Our show is not a passive, sit-back-and-watch experience. Most of the fun we have on stage comes from our inclusion of the audience. We get suggestions from them to begin each scene we perform, and in certain instances, bring them on-stage with us to add to our performance. It's less a 'show' and more a party. At least it feels like one to me. This group of actors brings me right back to how I started out in comedy - maybe that's why we have so much fun doing it."

Belushi starred on the ABC hit comedy "According to Jim," on which he also served as executive producer, music composer and director. After wrapping 182 episodes for its eighth and final season, the family favorite series also hit a milestone when it launched into off-net syndication in 2007. A favorite of film, television and stage audiences, Belushi is one of the great leading character actors equally at home in drama and comedy, and a gifted performer who can also hold a room as front man of a rhythm and blues band.

Accompanying Belushi are Megan Grano, Larry Joe Campbell, Joshua Funk and Trey Stone. Please note: Supporting cast may be subject to availability.

Megan Grano has appeared on TV in Weeds, Parks and Recreation, Hot in Cleveland, Conan, The Great State of Georgia, and American Dad. Film roles include Bridesmaids and This is 40. She is a 2007 alum of The Second City Chicago. Megan is also an iO Theater alum, where she has performed since 1999.

Larry Joe Campbell is back with Jim again having worked together for 8 seasons on According to Jim. Since then, Larry has appeared in the movies Hall Pass and Killers and has had recurring roles on Weeds, Rules of Engagement, and Lifetime's The Protector. Larry Joe was recently seen in R.I.P.D. with Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon and in Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim.

Joshua Funk is a multiple award-winning director and alum from The Second City in Chicago. His television and film credits include Key & Peele, Reno 911, Wild n' Out, and Steven Soderbergh's The Informant. Recently, he filmed Kenny Ortega's A Change of Heart with Jim Belushi and Larry Joe Campbell. When he is not acting, Joshua composes and produces the original music for Comedy Central's hit show Key & Peele. He is also the artistic director for The Second City Hollywood and the director of Jim Belushi and the Board of Comedy.

Trey Stone eventually was the Musical Director at The Second City in Chicago, where he served in that capacity for fifteen years. In 2013, Trey released his critically acclaimed album "Ahead of the Pack," featuring his rock-and-roll, New Orleans, and country-influenced songwriting and piano. Trey currently records and tours with his band, Trey Stone and the Ringers.
