Tupelo Community Theatre will present the drama Angel Street at TCT Off Broadway, 213 East Franklin Street, June 14th, 15th and 16th at 7:30 p.m.

A Broadway hit first produced on the West End under the title Gaslight and filmed twice, Angel Street tells the story of the Manninghams, who live on Angel Street in 19th century London. Patrick Hamilton, the author, has built and sustained some of the most brilliant, suspenseful sequences in modern theatre.

Tupelo Community Theatre will present its summer youth production of Disney's The Lion King JR, with music and lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice, June 21st and 22nd at 7:30 p.m. and 23rd at 2 p. m. at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Tupelo.

Based on the Broadway production the show has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, for the first time ever, TCT has the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical. The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.
