KING LEAR Continues at Habima Theatre Through 11/28 William Shakespeare's KING LEAR is coming to the Habima Theatre, running from Oct. 3 to Nov. 28.

At the end of his life, King Lear decides to divide his kingdom into three daughters according to their declarations of love. The youngest and most beloved of the girls, Cordelia, unlike her sisters, can not sweeten her tongue to please her father and win the land. The father denies his daughter and denies it.

The Patrician of Gloucester gets his bastard son, Edmund, a false letter that Edgar, the legal son of Gloucester, intends to murder their father for his property. The father denies his legal son and denies him.

When Leir's firstborn daughters shake him and leave him to the raging storm outside, Edmund, in his unbridled way to power and status, brings his father's eyes to a halt, beginning with blood and soul of reversal, brutality, and loss into the human ego.
