Review: LO-LAH at Tzavta: Not a Theatre Show - It's A Phenomenon! "Lo-Lah" ("not to her" in the literal translation) is described by its author Leatt Katzur as a "One-person show" phenomenon. When you first enter the theater you cannot imagine what you will end up seeing on stage. The only thing you initially see is a white curtain and a triangle on the actual stage floor. Then, when you see her for the first time you realize it is nothing but love at first sight.

Lo-Lah is a confused girl who went through some experiences in her life that eventually affected her confidence. She really wants to find a true love but the last person she dated did not like her bangs. Through the "one-person show" phenomenon Lo-Lah is trying to express her feelings by words but mostly by moves and dance steps.

Along with Lo-Lah, there are 2 other dancers who make any situation even funnier. Lo-Lah is breaking the 4th wall and we, as an audience, suddenly get a role. Lo-Lah is speaking to us as well as waiting for answers, which makes the situation very easy to relate to.

Lo-Lah is honest, funny, overwhelming, angry, sad, happy and shares those emotions directly with the audience. The songs are hilarious, although the music was a bit too loud sometimes. Yet, it felt connected to the plot.

At first, when I entered the theater I was scared that this is going to be a low budget one-person show that got wrong but I got the actual opposite. I got 50 minutes full of emotions, thoughts and not stopping laugh.

Don't miss Lo-Lah! And also! Don't forget to support her headstart for making this "one-person show" phenomenon into a web series. I want more from Lo-Lah! Trust me, we need more from Lo-Lah.
