Steele Spring Stage Rights, the licensing company that represents The Marvelous Wonderettes, has just acquired the licensing and theatrical performance rights to God Save Queen Pam, the off-Broadway musical comedy by Erin Murray Quinlan about a working-class girl from New Jersey, who by an accident of succession gets ripped from her barstool and is seated on the throne as the Queen of England.

In the new screwball musical comedy, the British Royal House of Edevane has died out, and the only living heir is an American bartender with a heart of imitation gold metal-like substance. With the help of her devoted royal staff, Pam Duffy must take on the duties of Queen and prove herself to be a suitable monarch before the scheming Lady Fenella de Dieul can unseat her-and to do that, she has to stay out of her own way.

Erin Murray Quinlan is a composer/lyricist/playwright based in NYC and London. She studied composition and creative writing at Berklee College of Music, playwriting at the University of Oxford, and more composition with the EAMA Nadia Boulanger Institute at the Schola Cantorum in Paris. She is also a composer/lyricist at the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Advanced Workshop in NYC, and a protégé of accomplished UK-based musical theater writer and director Paul Boyd. She is on the selection committee at NYC's famed Off-Broadway house, The Players Theatre. She is a proud member of the Dramatist Guild.

Stage Rights is thrilled to add this musicals to its ever-growing catalog. The theatrical publisher is no stranger to popular Off-Broadway fare, with The Marvelous Wonderettes currently playing at the Kirk Theatre. Its stable of musicals has also expanded to include such dynamic shows as the Little Women-inspired My Jo, the toe-tapping bio-musical Yankee Doodle Dandy! and the musical memoir about family, Goldstein.
