JAILBIRDS ON BROADWAY To Have Industry Reading This Week

JAILBIRDS ON BROADWAY by Tony Nominated writers Cheri Steinkellner & Bill Steinkellner (Sister Act), with music by Jeff Rizzo will receive an invitation-only industry developmental reading in NYC on Monday, March 25 at 4pm. Directed by Glenn Casale, with Musical Direction by Andrew Bourgoin.

If Orange is the New Black and 42nd Street had a baby who sang like Adler & Ross, danced like Fosse, and featured 9 diverse actors playing 30+ hilarious roles - that baby would be Jailbirds on Broadway, a rollicking new comic valentine to musicals, women's prison, and women's prison musicals. From incarceration to opening night, it's a killer!

The cast includes: Adinah Alexander (Kinky Boots, Wicked), Adrienne Eller (A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder Tour), Ellyn Marie Marsh (Pretty Woman, Kinky Boots), Ivory McKay (Grinch, Hello Dolly Tours), Mary Jo Mecca, Audrie Neenan (Sister Act), Dennis O'Bannion (White Christmas), Peter Van Norden (Little Johnny Jones) and Alan Wiggins (Pretty Woman, Beautiful).
