Actors Connection's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Colleen Finnegan Kahl as Actors Connection's New President, effective immediately.

The appointment reflects the company's new planned initiatives to develop strategic industry partnerships, expand marketing outreach, enhance customer service, and develop new products better tailored to professional performers in a digital age.

Colleen Finnegan Kahl is an experienced theatre arts educator, entrepreneur, consultant and community engagement leader. Post degree, Colleen grew a well-rounded theatrical skillset working as a professional actress, stage manager, producer and educator in both the NYC and regional theatrical markets.

In recent years, Colleen has built theatrical and creative arts programming for 15+ schools and community organizations. In 2017, her company, Enspirited Projects, was nominated as a top 3 innovative company for work in arts education and self-esteem along the Jersey Shore. Earlier this year, she was honored as a nominee for the Russ Berrie Making a Difference Award at Ramapo College for her direct impact on aspiring performers.

Alongside her theatrical endeavors, Colleen developed a patented jewelry product, launched a greeting card line, consulted on emerging arts districts, organized the development of a creative teen center and is currently assisting on an emerging new nutraceuticals company based in Florida. The board attributes her creative and entrepreneurial mindset as the biggest contributing reason for her appointment.

Kahl comments "I am looking forward to leading the team at Actors Connection as we find new ways to inspire and holistically support creative performers as they create their dream careers."

Former President, Christopher Dietrich, will be leaving this role as President after 17 years with the company. He is eager to get back to creative roots and will begin working as a new product consultant. Actors Connection wishes him the best and remains grateful for his years of contribution to the company. Christopher has both a performing arts and finance background. He has served the company well over his years of service as general manager, president and board member. He will remain on the board of directors and continue to contribute to the company.
