STEMA ITB (Studi Teater Mahasiswa ITB, the theatre club for the Institut Teknologi Bandung university) will hold their next production on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 at the Dago Tea House theater, Bandung. RATNA MANGGALI: PERIH SANG PUTRI PENYIHIR (RATNA MANGGALI: GRIEF OF THE SORCERESS' DAUGHTER) will be their second ever musical production since 2014's SANG PENUNGGU BULAN.

The show is adapted from the Balinese legend of Calon Arang, a mythical sorceress and mother of the maiden Ratna Manggali, who casts a curse upon the land until the King sends a man to marry her daughter. Many variations of the story exist, inspiring generations of Indonesian playwrights.

The script for RATNA MANGGALI is penned by Farisa Nabila, a STEMA ITB graduate. Heriastuti Puteri assumes the role of the director, assisted by Kamil Mardhiyyah as assistant director. The cast includes Kara Firza, Agung Joyo, Kamil Mardhiyyah, Hasna Taqiyya, William Justin, and Eri Krismiyaningsih.

RATNA MANGGALI will run for two performances on February 2nd: at 13.30 and 19.00. The show will be in Bahasa Indonesia. For ticket purchase and more information, check STEMA ITB's Instagram @stemaitb.
