BWW Previews: CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF LEONARD BERNSTEIN at Ciputra Artpreneur

Having had a successful night last year bringing classical music to the citizens of Jakarta, Nusantara Symphony Orchestra is back again to celebrate the musical wonders of Leonard Bernstein, as an ode to 100 years of the maestro's work.
the Nusantra Symphony Orchestra (NSO) conducted by our world-renowned conductor, Hikotaro Yazaki, will celebrate BERNSTEIN's 100th by performing the symphonic dances of the famous musical WEST SIDE STORY.
NSO is also proud to present Indonesia's best cellist, ASEP HIDAYAT, performing Schumann concerto in A Minor. Beethoven Symphony no. 5 will be another highlight of the performance.
The renowned Orchestra has a lot of experience in performing classical music such as the George Friedrich Handel's beloved Messiah, as well as a Peace and Love concert in celebration of the life of Saint John Paul II most recently. This year would be a fresh sight from Nusantara Symphony Orchestra since WEST SIDE STORY will be their main musical numbers in the concert, paying tribute to Bernstein, and giving the musical theatre enthusiasts in Jakarta something to count on.
