SEEKING
Equity actors and actor/singers for various roles in the upcoming 2019-20 Season.
ALL ACTORS WILL BE SIGNED ON AS ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGERS. Actor/ASMs are required to unload/load, setup and/or strike the set. No single piece of scenery shall exceed such proportions of height or weight as to make it impossible to be carried reasonably by two members of the company.
ALL ACTORS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO AUDITION, REHEARSE, AND TRAVEL FROM NYC. Some tours will be traveling to Canada, so actors must be able to travel outside of the United States. Some contracts would include an Artist Activity.
PREPARATION
Prepare EITHER: 1) Singers: a contemporary musical theatre or pop song. Bring music in correct key; accompanist provided. OR 2) Non-Singers: Prepare a contemporary comedic monologue. Does not need to be children or family friendly material. Just show us your sense of humor. OR 3) Both: Prepare a one minute monologue and 16 bars of a song.
Total audition time should not exceed 2 minutes.

BREAKDOWN
TheaterWorksUSA, America’s largest theatre for young and family audiences, seeks performers for the 2019/20 season. Most roles require singing in tight harmony.
All touring productions tour various dates throughout the year. Some contracts are 9-months, from end of August until mid-June. Shows only touring in the fall generally start rehearsing at the end of August / early September and run until mid-December, and shows touring only in the spring start rehearsing in late December/early January and run until as late as mid-June.
