SEEKING

For future replacements in the 4th National Tour (25th Anniversary Tour), seeking male dancers for the ensemble. All must be classical/ballet dancers and have solid classical technique with a musical theatre flair. Must be well built and muscular.

We need strong classical dancers. We are not looking for tap dancers, jazz dancers, or “hoofers.”

Casting for The Phantom of the Opera is interracial. Dancers of all ethnic backgrounds and races are encouraged to attend.

PREPARATION

All dancers, please be dressed, warmed up and ready to dance at the hour the audition begins. Men wear ballet shoes. If asked to stay and sing, choose music from the musical theatre repertoire that best shows off your voice and range. Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. There is no solo singing for the dancers (except ‘Meg’), but they will have to carry some vocal responsibility in the ensemble numbers.
