SEEKING:
PIPE – female, Latina, to play 18. Must be at least 18 years old for production dates.
President of the Dead Leaders Club. Brilliant, Demanding, Dictatorial. A steely exterior that hides deep shame and grief. Will run a Fortune 500 company one day. Cuban-American and white presenting, born in Miami, FL.
ZOOM – female, White/Jewish, to play 15. Must be at least 18 years old for production dates. Pipe’s lifelong next door neighbor. Impulsive, Hilarious, Excitable. The youngest of the bunch which is evident by her very genuine, wide-eyed view of the world. Will probably start a YouTube channel. An excellent singer. Jewish-American, born in Miami, FL.
SQUEEZE – female, Biracial, to play 16. Must be at least 18 years old for production dates. Pipe’s best friend. Incisive, Charming, Stubborn. Just as severe as Pipe, but with a greater capacity for empathy making her a natural born leader. Will run for Congress the second she is old enough. An excellent dancer/mover. Puerto Rican on mom’s side, something else on dad’s, born in Miami, FL.
KIT – female, Latina, to play 17. Must be at least 18 years old for production dates.
New girl in town. Sensual, Mysterious, Restrained. The kind of impossibly-cool that is both intimidating and seductive. Is not thinking so much about the future, only about how to get by in this moment. Colombian-American, born in New Jersey.
PABLO ESCOBAR – male, Latino, 40s
Yes, that Pablo Escobar. Ruthless, Loved, Feared. The girls’ idealized version of the infamous narco-terrorist, so somehow both a sex icon and father figure. Colombian, killed in Medellin. 44. *Spanish speaking.
PIPE’S LITTLE SISTER – female, Latina, to play 11.
The paragon of girlhood. Fierce, Precocious, Extraordinary. Bursting at the seams with potential. At the top of her game in School, Ballet, Taekwondo, Piano, Swim, and probably any other extra-curricular you can think of. Cuban-American, born in Miami, FL.
