AMADEUS

In this production, some actors will be playing multiple roles (silent parts) as needed.

Antonio Salieri - THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - male, 20s-30s, juvenile, energetic, extravagant, playful, a mad genius, runs the gamut of emotional highs and lows.

Constanze Weber- female, 20s-30s, bright, playful, juvenile but more responsible than Mozart, leads from her heart.

Joseph II - male, 40s, Emperor of Austria, dapper, cheerful, largely pleased with himself and the world.

Count Johann Kilian Von Strack - male, 40s-50s, Royal Chamberlain, dry, stiff, “a court official to his collarbone.”

Count Franz Orsini-Rosenberg - male, 40s-50s, Director of the Imperial Opera, round, benevolent to all things Italian. The actor will also play the Cook (silent part).

Baron Gottfried Van Swieten - male, 40s-50s, Prefect of the Imperial Library, ardent Freemason, not amused, known for his enthusiasm for old-fashioned music as “Lord Fugue.” The actor will also play Salieri’s Valet (silent part).

Venticelli I - THIS ROLE HAS BEEN CAST

Venticelli II - female, 20s-40s, purveyor of information, gossip and rumor. The actor will also play Teresa Salieri (silent part).

Katerina Cavalieri - female, 20s, Salieri’s promising pupil, has affairs with both Salieri and Mozart. The actor will also play an Opera Singer (silent part).

THE SUNSHINE BOYS

Willie Clark - male, 60s-70s, an aged Vaudevillian actor, sarcastic, half of the comedic duo “Lewis and Clark,” feuding with Al Lewis.

Ben Silverman - male, 30s-40s, well dressed, good-hearted, nephew of Willie.

Al Lewis - male, 60s-70s, an aged Vaudevillian actor, witty, more forgiving than Lewis, half of the comedic duo “Lewis and Clark,” wants to get back together.

Patient aka “The Man” - male, 30s-60s, an actor on TV in a sketch

Eddie aka “The Assistant” - male, 20s-30s, Assistant Director for TV

TV Nurse - female, 20s-30s, tall, “voluptuous and over-stacked blonde.”

Registered Nurse - female, 40s-50s, strong, no nonsense but caring.

BLOOMSDAY

Robbie - male, 20s, American, energetic, carefree, falls in love with Caithleen.

Cait - female, 50s, Irish, older version of Caithleen, more jaded, caught in a temporal vortex.

Robert - male, 50s, American, older version of Robbie, professor, caught in a temporal vortex.

THE OUTSIDER

Paige Caldwell - female, 50s-60s, a professional pollster, smart, sharp.

Dave Riley - male, 30s-40s, the Chief of Staff to the new Governor, a bit nervous, smart.

Louise Peakes - female, 30s-40s, a temp employee hired as the new Governor’s Executive Assistant, overly kind, oblivious to just about everything.

Ned Newley - male, 50s-60s, the new Governor, is fearful of everything, can’t speak in front of people, mumbles but knows how to run the government extremely well, if only he didn’t have to see anyone.

Arthur Vance - male, 50s-60s, a seasoned, very successful political consultant.

Rachel Parsons - female, 30s, a TV reporter, a genuine journalist, straightforward, honest.

A.C. Petersen - male, 30s-50s, a TV cameraman, sharp sense of humor, has a low tolerance for bullshit, would rather not interact with people.

THE HOMECOMING

Teddy - male, 30s, husband to Ruth, eldest son of Max, expat to America, professor of philosophy, logical, practical.

Ruth - female, 30s, wife to Teddy, in a sterile marriage, a former model, psychologically manipulative and sharp, seductive, strong-willed.

HUMAN ERROR

Jim - male, 30s, Heather’s husband, white, mid western “hick,” loves his truck and TVs, but caring, honest.

Heather - female, 30s, Jim’s wife, white, mid western, pregnant, kind, honest.

Dr. Hoskins - male, 50s, nervous, scattered, accidentally switches embryos between Heather and Madelyn.
