A World Premiere by E. M. Lewis

SYNOPSIS: Lissie and her brother, Roger, fled their family farm when they were both still in high school. Today, they've come back for their father's funeral. When Billy -- who they both knew when they were kids -- offers to buy the farm, it sets all three of them tumbling down a rabbit hole of memory and grief, as they try to let go of a tangled past that refuses to let go of them.

MARY ELIZABETH FOGERTY (Lissie) (43) A fourth grade teacher. Damaged.
WILL RIZZELL (Billy) (45) A farmer. Wears blue jeans and boots, a faded t-shirt and a John Deere ball cap, and glasses that make him look vaguely scholarly, despite everything else. In love with Lissie.
ROGER EUGENE FOGERTY (46) A cowboy, who lives and works on a large ranch in Wyoming. Lissie’s older brother.

CAST BREAKDOWN:
ROLAND McCABE: About 70 - the builder of the world’s largest media empire, his is vigorous and at times brusque, with no time for things that can’t help materially. He has a contentious relationship with his son, Andrew, who is something of a disappointment to him, and soft spot for his protege Eleanor. He talks about who will be his successor, but doesn’t plan on leaving any time soon.
ELEANOR - late 30s-early 40s. British. A former newspaper editor, she has ascended to the heights of power by virtue of her sharp intellect and killer instinct. She is loyal to her boss, Roland, and has keen reporter’s eye for details. Is generally calm in a crisis, and good at seeing the whole chess board.
ANDREW - Mid 40s - Roland’s only son, his cynical veneer and quick wit mask a troubled soul. He is as sharp as the others, but perhaps lacks their killer instincts. But he is by no means a pushover, and generally someone you’d want with you in a foxhole. Probably drinks a bit too much.
SYNOPSIS: The Source is a story of the power and influence the media have over our society, and the forces that both shape our views of the world and control our privacy.

SYNOPSIS: A Soviet journalist with the gift of total recall. A psychologist seeking to rehabilitate herself. A government censor with a secret past. Over two decades their fates become entwined as victims and collaborators in Stalin’s campaign to rewrite public memory.
