BREAKDOWN

SEEKING:

SAM
Female. Mid 20s to early 30s. Caucasian. LEAD. Hip, urban, millennial. Whip smart, strong, a self-possessed sense of ease that can cover deeper emotional fissures. Emotionally flexible; ca-pable of ranging from ironic cynicism to complete vulnerability and back again, sometimes in-stantly. Good with language. As comfortable in the shallows of pop culture banter as she is swimming in deeper emotional waters. Navigating, with her husband NICK, a new life in the wilderness going off-grid in their remote tiny house, so a bit fish out of water.

NICK
Male. Mid 20s to early 30s. Caucasian. LEAD. SAM’s husband. Hip, urban, millennial. A talker. A jokester. Ample charm. A big heart, but not an innocent. Idealist with the requisite amount of fashionable cynicism. Sexy in a Williamsburg, Brooklyn kind of way. Good comic sensibilities and timing. Good with language. Capable of ranging from the pop cultural to the political to the deeply personal. As with SAM, a bit fish out of water.
